Archive for September, 2003I decided to change the look a little bit, to more reflect a typical unix shell I am going to go and hook my xbox live crap up now.. Auf Wiedersehen Theres really been nothing new, been sick as previously mentioned. yuxxor, at least I am getting better *knock on wood* I am waiting on my order from newegg.com to arrive, I ordered a vantec hard drive tray so I can swap between drives when needed, it has this nifty lcd display on it too! Some Artic Silver 3 to conduct heat more with the cpu, and a new cpu fan/heatsink from coolermaster. I am going to sell my 2 graphics cards here soon I have a PNY Geforce 4 mx420 and a Sapphire Radeon 8500 128mg (both are agp) I was going to replace the Radeon in my system with a Matrox G450 dual head cards since it works so nicely with linux but found a kick ass Visiontek nVidia Geforce 4 Ti 4600 card. I should’ve got the FX 56/5900 card but didn’t think about it at the time, no biggie though. My room looks like hell right now, I need to try to work on it some today after school.. I have composition I at 2:30 then I can come back home and clean or sleep or whatever.. I hope I made a decent grade on my essay, being sick doesn’t go well with homework bah :p~~~ Sitting here looking at my APC ups I just realized having my computer on it might be killing it, it’s only a 200 so I may go and swap it out with the smart ups 700 over on my rack.. possibly. Actually thinking about it I dread school today, or any day matter of fact.. I came home yesterday about 1400 and rested, only to take a nap.. the nap lasted til almost 2200 and then I got on the pc for a few then went back to bed to arise at 0600 this morning.. how lovely.. Seems I have a migrane today that isn’t going away, I could take some of my migrane medicine but I’ll probably pass out from it if I do. I need to get some ram for my machine too, I’ve got 512 of some weirdo brand in mine and I was going to give it to Dicky if he wanted, I am stuck choosing between 2 manufacturers.. Crucial (micron) or Corsair.. they both seem to have nice ram but I know people who’ll swear by Crucial plus I have seen it in use in some heavy duty enviroments so they may be my choice.. I want to put a gig in here but dont have the money for one 1gb stick… I gotta check to see how much my board can take.. *checks* Oooh 3gb of unbuffered non-ECC ramI can even use PC1600, PC2100 or even PC2700! Not bad gotta jet and check mail and see if my order is here yet…. Latta… Had to go to the ER the other night for my bronchitis/walking pneumonia crap.. they gave me biaxian and today I feel even worse, my lungs hurt to breathe, I cough all the time, my body aches.. BAH I gotta get better by monday I have math test and dunno what in networking.. tuesday my final draft of my essay is due… I have been looking at some new computer parts already more later…  How evil are you? Well today has been a real blast… NOT!!! I missed composition, I feel more like shit than yesterday.. I can hardly keep any food or liquid down… I am gonna try to get a dr. appt tomorrow but if that fails then I am heading to the good ol ER to wait several hours for some help blah..
