Well let’s see, Steven got a job working with his mom at the Heart Center, may have mentioned that. Still haven’t got to talk to him since Wednesday, they got the sprint voice mail crap on their phone now so it’s hard to tell if the phone’s busy or if they’re there or what.

Anywho, went to Mr. Hampton’s yesterday and helped him move, worked from 4:30ish til about 10:30, we got pizza and ate and rested. I am sore as heck right now. Left his place about 2315, went by Thomas’ and we hung out for a bit. Got home and fell asleep about 0800 this morning after reading “Building the Corps”, I’ve read it before but that was years ago, it’s a pretty cool book. Got up about 1700 and been up since, still tired, hungry, sore, etc. Talking to Gina now online :)
I reckon that’s about it fer now.

Well suprise suprise suprise! Mr. Sannes called me a few minutes after I posted the last entry! I didn’t think he’d come out this way due to the rain but he did. We decided to meet at Chick-Fil-A, ate food and sat and talked for I guess about an hour or 1 1/2 hours. I really enjoyed getting to talk with him, it’s been years since we really got to talk. We were discussing the “wonderful” school system around here and he mentioned when he used to take the 8th graders to Bays Mountain and do map stuff and these 2 kids were hollering obsenities across the lake and he yelled at them and they turned around and saw him and ran but little did they know they wern’t running *from* him they were running right *to* him. He was furious that they had ran and he kicked this rotton log and it busted in half and flew all over the place, he said those kids eyes got huge and were scared half to death! LOL it had me laughing, I can just picture it. hahaha!

Anywho I am home now, noone to talk to right now, bored to death. ARG

Well let’s see, woke up about 9am err 0950ish, mother called to wake me up but I had just woken up and couldn’t go back to sleep. Called Steven, talked to him for about 5 minutes. His mom may have gotten him a job with her at the Heart Center. Asked Eric about it and he’s not too sure about that heh. Went by the office for a few, left and went by DB looking for Mr. Hampton since I am supposed to help him move some this week. Couldn’t find him in his office and no one knew where he was but he was there somewhere. I left and went by Pal’s and got a tea and came home.

What an eventful morning..

Waiting to hear if Mr. Sannes is coming to Kingsport today, it’s murky and raining out so I don’t know if he will. Would be nice if he did, if not I can take a trip to Mountain City sometime and visit him hehe.

I guess I am gonna lay down for a bit, stomach is churning some..yum.

Go Light Your World - Kathy Trocolli

There is a candle, in every soul
Some brightly burning, some dark and cold
There is a spirit, who brings a fire
Ignites a candle, and makes his home

So, carry your candle, run to the darkness,
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn.
Hold out your candle, for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world;
Take your candle, and go light your world.

Frustrated brother, see how he’s tried to
Light his own candle, some other way.
See now you sister, she’s been robed and lied to
Still holds her candle, without a flame.

So, carry your candle, run to the darkness,
Seek out the lonely, the tired and worn
Hold out your candle, for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world.

‘Cause we are a family, whose hearts are blazing
So lets raise our candles, and light up the sky
Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus
“Make us a beacon, in darkest times”

So, carry your candle, run to the darkness,
Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor
Hold out your candle, for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world.

Carry your candle, run to the darkness
Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn
Hold out your candle, for all to see it
Take your candle, and go light your world
Take your candle, and go light your world.
