Fated Strife

Well I went to sleep about, ehh 0400 I think. The time change had me all screwed up and the 2nd 0100 went by fast. I worked on some site stuff and then read. I’ve found a case I asked my mom to get me for Christmas if she will. It’s the Cooler Master CM Stacker. This case kicks ass (Even Maximum PC says so!)

I LOVE that case (not as much as Gina though) but this will make a great addition for my upgrade! Speaking of the upgrade, my mobo arrived a few days ago as I noted but I decided to check on the cpu I had to finally give in and order (AMD Athlon 64 3500+) and it’s in Louisville(TN) right now, it’s schedule for the 2nd but it may be here tomorrow.

I should’ve ordered some Arctic Silver 5 when I placed the order for the mobo and cpu, I had 2 chances but I kept forgetting. Luckily I have some Arctic Silver 3 left so I’ll use that until I can get the other. I WILL NOT use any other type of compound for my heatsink/processor. Just google for it and you’ll see why!

Anyways, I got up earlyish, about 10 or 1100 and got online and was talking with Gina who got on early, I thought she was going to get on after the aid left but I misread her message.
We talked for a bit and then mother was here so we could go shopping. So we left I’d say around the same time Gina had to go for the aid adn we went over to Johnson City mall. Looked in Hot Topic, Abercrombie, Nord’s Games, etc. She went into her “mommy store” and got her some clothes that’d fit for now. I decided to stop by game stop and she decided to sit on the comfy chairs outside of the store, well I was inside shopping and was checking out and she came up to me and told me these punk kids had vultured her chair, there were two and one kid sat down in the other chair and the other just stood there. So my mom got up to come in the store and the kid jumpped in the chair. She told me this and then went outside to wait. Well after I purchased my Evangelion DVDs (0:1,0:6,0:7,0:8) I went outside the store, I was furiously pissed. So I walked over to the chairs and looked at the kids and said “You pathetic peices of shit have no respect for a pregnant woman?!?” They just looked and I said “I should take your fucking heads and smash them into the floor right now”. They didn’t do anything, just went back to watching the tv, so I stormed out of the mall and found my mom.
I can say I actually enjoy going with her to the mall and stuff, I know that sounds weird but I have fun with her. I can walk around and make my comments under my breath about things and it gets her cracked up.

So we left and hit the mcdonalds in Grey (I’m playing the monopoly game vigerously) but I got the same peices I already have. Suxxor.

We went to Virginia and she shopped for some bread and crap and I played some scratch tickets. Won a whole $2, which reminds me that I need to redeem the ones I have in my car still (something like $10 worth lol) Then she brought me home and I came back in and Gina wasn’t on so I sat around and worked on the site some more. I had been wanting to give my status graphs some better looks and since I’m not too keen on MRTG or RRDTool I had to break it a few times until I finally got it nice looking. It shows traffic in and out of it and the like. The one on the right shows memory and swap space usage.

Gina finally got on and we talked for awhile then she had to go about ehh 19:00 to visit with her grandparents, well she had to go first to visit with the people from her sisters mormon church. So she’s been offline, since, I forgot that she wasn’t going to get back on.

I called my mom back up and asked if she wanted to run to the gas station with me real quick and she did so we went and I got my cold drink and such and she wanted to go to the krispy kreme and get some doughnuts since she’s having those woman cravings. I got a dozen for me and the rest of the people here, they’ll either get eaten or tossed away. I can’t eat them alot cause of the sugar, it makes me sick so I have to be careful on how much sugar I eat.

So I came back, talked with Kevin and Joe in the #leap IRC channel on FreeNode. Me and Kevin talked about anime and such and also Castlevania and other fun games like that. He likes alot of the stuff I do (games and the like) which is cool, I actually have a friend with the same interests for once hehe and this one helps me out with my stupid questions too.

I tried to clean my desk off some but I’m tired and didn’t get alot done to it, it’s cleaner than it was though lol.
I do though have to start cleaning this room out some. I am going to have some contractors come in and see if they can do the work I need done to seperate my room and add an office area and some walls and a few doors. Hell, I know they can it’s just a matter of getting it done good but at an affordable price.

Well, I’ve rambled on for too long now, I have been thinking though that I might do a small pc review site on certain parts and the like. Everyone knows there’s a ton of them out there already but I still want to do it, just so I can have my say in how I like it and how it works. I might integrate it with NeverBeige.net.. who knows

I had a decent night’s sleep for once, I think it’s all the meds. I did sleep weird though cause my neck hurts bad.
I got up about 08:00 then went back to sleep and mother called around 11:00 to wake me up but I fell back asleep and then awoke around 12:50. I talked with Gina and worked on my laptop some which now has a good install of Gentoo on it. I still need to get X to work on it but I’m too tired to do that right now.
I talked with Gina most of the day, mother and I were supposed to go to Johnson City to get me some clothes and such but she didn’t feel like it and she didn’t want to go out cause of the halloweeners. So I convinced her to go to circuit city with me earlier and I picked up a new 410w powersupply cause my old 300watt one couldn’t take it anymore. FINALLY I have real SATA power connectors and even a whole to power connectors dedicated to just fans! Kick ass!

I talked with Eric some on the phone, he’s getting a new gun hehe, he’s even trying to get me a job with him as a Systems Administrator, it’s just that the company doesn’t have the funding yet so he doesn’t want me to work and not get paid. Kind of him
Gina got offline about 21:10, the aid showed up early, she said she was going to bed after she left, well she was going to read then go to bed. Hope she does.

I’m sore, achy, tired. All of the above crammed into one lol. My throat is swollen some, my tonsils are baaad. So I know it’s fall now cause I’m sick arg, but not too sick so thats good.

I guess that’s it for today, nothing much else went on that I can think of or remember.. Cheryl, Randall and Zachary came by since they took him out trickortreating, grandma told me to let him have the new toy my mom bought me last night and she’d pay for it so I let him have it anyways.

Time for my painkiller and some sleep I think hehe

Well I woke up about 07:30 this morning then again about 0900 then finally at 1100. My mom called and said that she was home, she had to go to the hospital today cause while she was having that one test done she was having contractions. Not being there makes me feel like shit. ARG
Talked to Gina for awhile, then the aid showed up then she got back on and we talked. I talked with Kevin some on IRC. I got my OpenBSD shirt and cds today.
Went to walmart with my mom and am now home. Talked with Gina then her aid showed up so I guess I am going to bed, I feel bad and am tired.

Well not really, probably would work better if I was writing this last night. heh..

Nothing much going on today, woke up about 1600, I didn’t get to sleep til late and didn’t get much sleep either.

I’m sitting here talking to Gina right now, we’re not talking too much it seems.
Matt talked to me for a few minutes but that was just to ask something of me.

I got my motherboard today. I had to go and order the cpu so that should be here in the next few days hopefully.

I’m not feeling too hot, just dont feel all here right now, I think I might go to bed after the aid gets there.
