I’ve been working on several projects behind the scenes for the blog system.
I’ve implemented a few plugins, most of which are noted on the main blog selection page after you login.
The one worth noting is David Rayner’s DropCash plugin. You can see this in use on the first entry displayed on my blog. Also feel free to contribute to my current need.
The documentation is available at the link I posted above. Also don’t forget to use the greater than and less than characters as needed.
Second, if you do custom work on your templates and you are using the Dynamic Publishing feature and you are getting mysql errors when you rebuild the template you must do the following:
1. Turn off Dynamic Publixhing, this means selecting Build All Templates Statically on the Templates menu.
2. Rebuild the template that would not rebuild.
3. Turn Dynamic Publishing back on.
That should have cleared it up. I applied a patch that fixed this but to be safe I still suggest that you do the above 3 steps.
Again let me state that I have installed quite a few plugins that greatly expand your blogging experience, I will compile a list soon. If you don’t see one listed that you have a dire need for and that might also be of use to other users please let me know using the feedback form. A list of MT 3 compatible plugins is available HERE. If you see a plugin that is not listed in the MT 3 compatable list check the authors site and then contact me providing the info (links, etc) and I’ll do my best to get it installed.
