Nothing really new, gotta have an endoscopy done on May 4th, 6am. Not been feeling too well the past few days. Talked to Gina some today, tomorrow is her birthday!

I think I finally settled into bed around 01:00 or so tonight, worked on some papers I was organizing and the like. I think I was starting to doze off when the bladder snapped me back to reality.

Oops got carried away making a post on the allakhazam messageboards. Anyway, yesterday was spent like a zombie, I pretty much stared at the walls most of the morning then passed out and got back up around 1600. Talked to Gina some, played a little FFXI. The usual stuff.

Thomas came over the other night, we watched Pink Flamingos, it was an in… wait I posted about that already.

Oh yes, I was trying to find some prices on a plane ticket to Burbank, CA (for the concert thingy), I hit the Delta site first cause them and AMEX has some stuff goin on and points and all that. A round trip ticket from here to there for coach was around $430 Wow, I’ve never shopped for tickets before but that was like hitting a brick wall.
I am going to have to do some more price shopping this weekend and see what all I can find because I DO NOT plan to miss this concert.

I have to get up in a few hours and go get my shots, mmm fun. Monday I have to go back and see Bobbie and hopefully get my B12 shots, maybe that’ll give me some energy.

My local Gentoo box is running good, which is a suprise because “mr touch of death” set it up. I’ve got to configure some stuff on it a bit more and setup rsync to login to the colo and back up my important web stuff. Always a blast.

I guess that’s all, lost my train of thought (not like I ever had one) but still I don’t like to jabber on pointlessly in my blog… that often heh.

Eh nothing too exciting has been going on. I went to bed early last night, my jaw is swollen and my head felt like it was hit with a stack of bricks.

Thomas came over Monday night for awhile, we watched the movie “Pink Flamingos”. It was a rather interesting movie, weird mostly but interesting.

Gina didn’t get online today said she was tired and such, don’t blame her either, when I don’t feel like talking or am tired I don’t get on.

I am trying to find some plane ticket prices to Universal City, CA. I have a ticket for a concert there and I really don’t want to miss it.
It’s for Nobuo Uematsu, he writes alot of the music used in the Final Fantasy series of games and I have been a fan of his work for years.

I finally got my local monitoring and backup server running. I had to go through the install 3 times, first time the drive was bad, 2nd I screwed up and and changed the filesystem and deleted everything, and finally I got it all done. Using the Gentoo Hardened Sources kernel, uses Grsecurity and a mix of SElinux for all that extra security.

I guess I am going back to sleep shortly, I had to get up to use the bathroom and checked my mail and crap. Mmmm sleep.

Gee seems I am behind a few days hehe

Nothing much going on, I had t drop in the office Thursday for a few, I got to see the “junk pile” upstairs some ISP went out of business and we accquired some equipment, I’ve got to go up there with more light one day and look around.

I’ve had this migraine for a few days now, bugging the hell out of me, so is the fact that my keyboard doesn’t type all the letters sometime, I believe this is due to the KVM switch but whatever.

I’ve played FFXI some, got Zilart missions 5, 6, and 7 done. ^^ Talking with Gina some too, haven’t been in a want to get online or talk much lately, plus my freaking mood has been swinging more than swing dancers.. or something like that.

I am currently on my 2nd install of Gentoo on the PowerEdge 350, I had made it all the way through earlier today when the filesystem type got screwed up and I lost all the data on /dev/hda3 (root partition) fortunately I’ve saved the kernel config and all and I need to go and remove XFS support from it. ugh ugh, once it is done though it will be backing up the webserver and also monitoring it so that if it goes down or such I will know earlier.

Well it’s time for bed,gotta be at the allergist tomorrow morning. ZZZzzzz
