Fated Strife

This week has been rather dull, I’ve been sleeping in later and staying up later meaning my sleep schedule is getting farked up more. On top of that I have to be at the GI doctor by 08:00 tomorrow and then get my shots too. fun

I finally got a party on FFXI, I have to say this was one of my better parties, though people had to leave at various points most got to level, heck we even had to do as 5 people in the Valley of Sorrows since our 6th disconnected and we were waiting on the blm’s replacement. I am now 2k from level 62 and I can’t be more excited! I’ve been hunting around some for a party today but no invites or such though I do plan to party with some of the ones I did the other night again soon.

I got to talk to Gina last ni.. err this morning, well it was around midnightish I do beleive but she had to get in bed and I needed sleep so I tried to go to sleep but unfortunately I couldn’t. I layed there most of the night and tossed and turned, I think I finally fell asleep a little before 06:00.

My shirts I ordered showed up today! They’re cool, I gotta pick out which one I want to wear tomorrow, decisions decisions.

I see an update for wordpress has been released so that means I gots to upgrade.. fun fun

Anywho I just wanted to make a quick update and off to bed now..hopefully sleep land too

I’m not really up to writing a whole lot tonight. I didn’t get much sleep last night and was up pretty early today, I did lay back down and napped for a few hours. I had gotten up and took my mom a tea and such and came home and got on FFXI, and watched my shows on fox.
I tried sending Gina some messages but never got a reply so don’t know if she wasn’t there or if she got them at all, she’s not online right now though which suxxors

In the game I helped out with several different things. First up was helping Laww out with limit break 2, it went pretty good and all, I enjoyed it. Next up I went and helped Dhalsim in Beadeaux trying to get him his Water IV scroll which we unfortunately didn’t get. Next up went and helped Darkwing with his dark spark battle for his AF hands quest.

That’s pretty much been my day. I am still hunting down some more family guy episodes to watch, mostly of the new season. Tonight’s episode was pretty good, I enjoyed it.

Well I had to cut the post short last night as I was dead tired and wanted to pass out. This weekend has been ok, my intestines have been under attack I beleive, I am thinking it may have been that tasty pizza we had yesterday but I only ate maybe 2 peices at most.

I have found some torrents of some Family Guy episodes, only got 2 of the new season but that’s better than none. I might post some links to them when I get a chance but it’s not too difficult to google it and find the downloads for em.

As for the feed topic, I decided to go and grab FeedDemon again for use on my windows machines, I had used this previously when I used MT but when I switched to completely linux systems I couldn’t find a decent reader I liked, now that I have windows on 2 machines (laptop and game system) I decided to use it. I am pretty sure I purchased it when I was using it but I have no idea what my serial number or the like was and cant seem to find that info. I don’t mind buying it again as it’s great software and all but right now I just don’t have the money for it (or any software at that).
I really enjoy the feed reader as it puts all the blogs I like to read daily in a easy to access place and updates all the news at once.

I have also been toying around with w.bloggar, it seems pretty cool but haven’t had a chance to dig into it yet though.

I didn’t really sleep too well last night, I talked with Gina til 01:00 or 02:00, then went to bed, I had planned on showering but never got to so I will take care of that today sometime. I layed down and I think I may had dozed off but woke up or such around 04:00 then fell back assleep and woke up around 07:00 and have been up since. I am pretty tired still so I may go back to sleep and see if I can nap some.

I got my xbox modchip installed Friday, had to go and hunt a torx screwdriver (actually 2), Dicky didn’t have any in his room that I could find but he had every other tool known to man (even ones that no one knows about :shock:). I finally though did find the ones I needed (and got a small set of bits from the Shack for future use). Anyway as I was saying got it installed and everything seems to be working as it should, I still need to go and hunt out a nice bios and some software for it when I decide on what all I want it to do.

The FFXI world has been decently fun lately, I’ve been hanging out with Level 70 (yes *70*) Dhalsim, 9 levels above me now and been fighting in Beadeaux some Quadav for his Black Mage Testimony and trying to get a Water IV scroll. Plus I get to chat with my friends (Jen, Lestat, et al) so it’s all fun

Also you may have noticed a few new areas on the sidebar there, one is Recent Links, this allows me to add a link that I find interesting or may need and can’t easily bookmark it and may not deserve an entire post for. Also I’ve added my Netflix queue (which happens to be empty) and also my list of recently played songs (which isn’t displaying for some unknown reason which I need to check into). Also near the end of the sidebar is a Verse of the Day, unfortunately the KJV version has a bunch of extra copyright text and such so I am using the default version for now.

Also if you happen to be interested in trying out torrents and the like I suggest giving the BitTornado client a try, I use it both on my laptop and on my linux workstation and really like it.

I beleive I have ran out of things to ramble about for the time, so I am gonna go and lay down for a bit and try that nap.

ALSO, I am looking for some suggestions on xbox/ps2 games that I might enjoy so feel free to comment with your suggestions! ^^

I have implemented both and seems things are a bit faster now. Also I can’t wait to see how the comment spam stuff works out.. not that I get that much of it but still.

Anyway, nothing much been going on, Thomas came over the other night for a bit. Been sleeping and/or running like a dog to different places. We gots company in right now too. Finally got to talk to Gina some today and also got to sit down and play FFXI some.
