Fated Strife

Today I actually accomplished some tasks. I never did get back to sleep after I woke up this early morning. I went and got some breakfast I think then came home and worked on my blog some and browsed around. I did manage to order Xecuter 3 modchip for my xbox, I have the 2.6 version but would like to try version 3 out.

I took a short nap today then went with my mom to walmart. I picked up Star Wars Trilogy (Widescreen Edition) dvd set and a comforter for my bed. Also found an imperial guard and general grievous figures as well. Came home and watched SW Episode IV - A New Hope and chatted with Gina and played some FFXI. Dhal and I started on the 3rd Ayame quest. Gina’s aid showed up and I decied it was time for bed, then had to get up to go to bathroom and decided to read my new maximum pc magazine and write this entry.

Also my 2 shirts I ordered (vgcats one and ctrl-alt-del one) shipped today apparently. Can’t wait to get them!
I keep breaking out for some reason, I start to itch real bad too. I thought maybe it was something on my bed but it’s not just limited to when I am in bed now, so I am wondering if it’s what the stuff has been washed in or what but it’s driving me nuts.

Well Monday wasn’t very exciting, I woke up around 05:00 and was up for a little bit then went back to sleep, got up around noonish and got my allergy shots and got some food. Came home, sat around for a bit, watched the movie Darkness on PPV. It was ok, had the same layout as several other “horror” movies from the past few years, such as doing scenes by date, such as Monday.. then Tuesday and so forth somewhat like the Ring.

I got on FFXI for a few minutes today, no one was on so eventually just watched that movie. I finally just passed out and woke up about 00:45, I beleive my vonage line woke me up with someone calling, after waking up and logging on to my vonage account I see it was another person calling about that stupid satellite crap, somehow some company has their billing department listed under my number so I get a crapload of calls about it.

Pretty much been sitting here working on my blog some, most of it was with backend stuff and plugins. I was on aim for a bit but Gina wasn’t on, I’ve been checking every so often but she’s not gotten on.

I came across this entry someone made on their blog, I had been looking at some plugins and ended up there. The entry cracks me up due to this little outtake:

Me: “Where’s the bar?”
Undergrad dude: “There is no bar.”
Me: “…”
Me: “Where’s the bar?”
Undergrad dude: “There is no bar.”
Me (in my head): “It is only your mind that drinks.”
Me (out loud): “Perhaps I’m not making myself clear, or perhaps, being under the age of twenty-one, you are unfamiliar with the ‘bar’ concept. I am interested in obtaining alcoholic potables in some quantity. Whence might such libations be procured?”
Undergrad dude (out loud): “?”
Undergrad dude (in his head): “Jackass grad students. I can’t believe we always have to ask for funding from the GSC.”
Me: “?”
Undergrad dude: “…”
Me: “Peace.”

The part with the “there is no bar” … “It is only your mind that drinks.” was good (if you don’t get it, it’s from the Matrix where the kid is bending spoons with their mind but says there is no spoon so it is only your mind that bends..)

You may not find humor in that but I find it hilarious, mostly due to the fact that it uses “big words” such as “potables” and “libations” and “procured”. (big words for some, such as those who are not very well educated or those who might not have been english majors) Also the fact as this sounds like something that would be coming out of the mouth of Charles E Winchester the 3rd from MASH.

I’m wondering if Derkhan and Lestat received their Chocobo stickers I sent them, hopefully they did, I sent them Friday and I am sure they should’ve arrived by now, if not today at the latest. Unfortunately didn’t get to talk to my buddy Dhal today either which sucks. He started a new position today so he’s not online during the day anymore.

Eh I guess that’s about it, it’s late and I am sleepy again thanks to my meds plus I *should* be sleeping now anyway.

Well I got to talk to Gina for quite a bit today which was fun, we haven’t gotten to talk for a few days.
It had started storming some this evening, it cleared back up but then got weird looking outside. The sky was a weird blue/purple color mixed with some black clouds and the like. Thunder and lightning and some rain too, knocked the cable off air a few times, of course during Simpsons and Family Guy. Simpsons was good as well as Family Guy and American Dad.

I’ve been doing some updating on my blog, mostly working on the sidebar and some plugins. I finally got that damn plugins used plugin to work, actually it worked before but I couldn’t get it working in a static page but saw a link to a plugin they said was needed to make it work on said static pages, now it works.

I started reading some Amityville book, the evil continues or something like that. Finished it yesterday I beleive, it was a pretty interesting book. I loaned it to mother today she said she’s gonna read it, stated she read a few pages so far.

uh hrmm, I started to break out and itch when I got in bed earlier, don’t know if I ate something that I’m allergic to or if it’s nerves or maybe something on my bed, whatever it is has me itching like mad though.

Oh! I finally got to watch Finding Nemo the other day, it was a pretty good movie, I enjoyed it. Gina was telling me there were some neat stuff on the 2nd disc, haven’t had a chance to check the extra stuff out yet though.

Well nothing really eventful going on this weekend, I stayed up a good while after I had the endo Friday, just played some Yoshi’s island I think, eventually passed out. I got up pretty early yesterday but I was in a gut wrenching pain and nausea and other colon stuff that it took pretty much all my energy and I really couldnt do much without my stomach cramping. I fell asleep sometime yesterday evening and slept til about 05:00 this morning and repeated the process but it seems that the pain has subsided somewhat.

That’s pretty much been it, been playing some old NES/SNES games on my laptop and am now talking to Gina some, got on ffxi some but not really up to playing it right now.

I added a now listening to thing on the right side of the page under the search box, it’s not updating yet for some reason but I’ll get it worked out.

First I want to thank everyone for their well wishes. Second I am drugged up so I may not be typing all that great.

Anywho got to sullivan’s office this morning and got taken back pretty quick, got my vitals taken and all that crap, got in gown and in bed and read some. Finally got taken back and Amanda got my IV in quick, easy, and best of all, no pain.

Dr. Sullivan came in and spoke to me, checked my CT results and such, pretty much he said I was FOS (Full of Shit/Stool), and that could be causing the acid to be going crazy since my colon doesn’t want to work very well, etc.

So anyway got taken back pretty quick after that to the procedure room, got hooked up, joked around with the nurses as usual, got drugged up and then woke up to ask when we were going to get started.. unfortunately they were already done which got me all confuzzled. Got into recovery room and what not. Went to pharmacy to get drugs and am now home.

Nothing new and everything’s still like it was which sucks. So gotta go back and see Bobbie on the 30th and guess that means we see how my colon is and prossibly do the Bravo ph test thing.

Anywho I am gonna pass out now so off I go.
