Fated Strife

Well there hasn’t been much going on here. Went to the bookstore Saturday with mother, derek and adam. I found him a little Stewie keychain plush thing in FYE. I picked up 20some cd jewl cases for around $5.80 total which isn’t too bad. I’m still trying to get what cds and inserts and such togeather to put in the cases.

I’ve been trying to put togeather a new resume lately which I’ve not seen any success from, I need to keep it looking decent but also alowing it to be viewed on the web. Alex King has something like this using php which I need to upload and test. It can change it to plain text, and a bunch of other stuff.

I’ve updated the gallery with a few photos, I’m sure there will be more on the way. Been working on the Cisco 3620 this weekend, was able to rip the configuration apart to the point of it only allowing rommon access which from there I was able to restore the IOS backup I had made. Quite proud of the fact I was able to do that and the fact that it doesn’t seem all that difficult as it did before.

Leveling club skill for my whm in ffxi, almost to 210. Soon enough I’ll have hexa strike. Been getting some exp for my rdm also but not before I leveled war to 30 and blu to 10.
Other than the occasional skill up or quest I just don’t play that much anymore.

Been working some on my sites and on the server some. Been doing some code changes on my personal site (this one) so if something seems out of place or funky or whatever, please use the contact page to let me know.

Ok time for bed.

Well yesterday I wasn’t able to get to sleep until around 9am, which, for me was shocking conisdering I had been sleeping ok. I woke back up around 1pm played ffxi for awhile, went to home depot to pick up some fly catching stuff. Came home, repaired cisco 3620 router thing took some pictures of this big storm we had, it hailed which is something I’ve not seen in many many years, was pretty nifty.

Been watching tv some and cleaning up, got in bed before 12 for once. Turned off light and everythihng was all ready to pass out then eyes started burning and itching, so went and put some eye drops in and noticed pores on nose were awfully clogged to went after them for a little bit and I think I broke my septum, maybe. Not sure either way was sore some, but now just swelling but thats going away too.

Wednesday morning I woke up around 7am for some odd reason so got up for a few minutes after I finished freaking out thinking that I had slept til 7pm and missed doctor appointment and such.

I was laying back down in bed and drifting off when the side of my left foot had this intense pain and felt like a match or something hot had been jabbed into it. After further investigation I find 2 bite marks, both a good distance apart which leads me to believe that the first wakeup was caused by the first bite. I got back to sleep for a bit and went to GI doctor and had some blood work done and setup a colonoscopy (May 31). I came home and sat around a bit went out to walmart to pick up some stuff and went by my moms house. I showed her my foot while I was there and freaked her out. The side of it had swollen up and was red so finally got talked into going to the ER to have it checked out.

Normally I would’ve ignored it and let it clear up but had been having trouble breathing (such as pain in left side of chest when breathing in) and felt like something was in lungs (thus making me cough like mad) and was causing my throat to itch pretty bad. Now considering the fact that I’ve had my go-round with Anaphylaxis before and know that the symptoms I had are also symptoms of that I decided better safe than sorry.

I left and drove up to the ER and got checked in and taken back pretty quick, talked to doctor for a few minutes, had chest x-ray taken, was given some steroids and talked to Derek while I waited. I was finally able to make it home about 1am this morning, was told to take some benadryl and keep ice on foot. My lungs were clear considering I had been sick and all so that was good. Otherwise could’ve been home sleeping or being productive just to be told to take some benadryl.
