Fated Strife

Eh past week could have been better. Thursday or so I started running a fever and some such things, the Reglan I had been put back on was casuing me some problems (aggitation, irritability etc) so got put on Erythromycin (antibiotic but also used in people who have motility disorders such as myself) which is getting the motility going but not sure what is making me sick hopefully the antibiotic will help if not then some stupid virus.

Angel has been sick too and busy with school stuff so not much time to hang out. I got to see the season finale of House for season 2. Was pretty interesting, it could’ve been better but was still good. Today was also the release date for House season 2 and the Silent Hill movie which I gotta pick up tomorrow hopefully. House season 2 should be here by the end of the week from amazon. I had it and “The Medical Science Behind House, MD” book set to ship in one shipment so wouldn’t have got the DVDs until October so had to adjust that.

Working on getting one of those small form factor machines I have and putting something like m0n0wall on it to deal with my routing and firewalling for traffic from the DSL modem to the network and from network out. Also an Asterisk system, currently have it on my Dell box under other desk. I need to get one of the cards for it that will connect with the POTS line and all that jaz.

Meh its late and I’m tired so more some other time. I am working on updating the look of my blog and such, also put in to action some measurements to keep people from hotlinking to images in my gallery (seems alot of people have been but it’s out of hand now.)

Well it’s been awhile since I last posted, few things have happened. I had another endo on the 9th, one of the monitors for the scope had been damaged by water so they were trying to replace it while sedating me, much fun. Found a tear of the lining of the esophagus which would be the source of most of the blood, gastritis, etc. Was diliated but the LES wasn’t burned. Woke up in some decent amount of pain but was given some lidocaine/antacid crap which hasn’t really helped.

Leveled alchemy and fishing some on FFXI, I’ve lost quite a bit of exp lately so around 2.9k right now so need to get to killing some puddings sometime. Angel has been sick so not on much and when we get to hang out its not long which really sucks. Working on some missions aswell need to finish up Mission 15: The Black Coffin which is a BCNM and just gotta get everyone on at the same time and get out there and do the fight.. and win!

Back on the subject of health, I’ve been Effexor free since July 29th, I’ve had a few of the worse discontinuation symptoms but they’ve really just seemed to go away, occasional brain zap things when stressed or such but those are very few now. Never been happier about being off a medication. You really start to notice more things, can think clearer, etc than when you’re on the effexor.

I was at walmart earlier and saw one of the neatest transformers toys since Unicron was released, it was (Cybertron) Primus. This thing is huge, though it seems Unicron may be a tad bigger but still was pretty cool. They did have a 3″ Unicron metal toy thing I got which is now sitting up on top of my tv shelf, pretty cool.

Remember September 5th is the start of season 3 of House! Starts 8pm Eastern. Also Nip/Tuck season 4 starts the same day, I’m unsure of the time though. So go mark it on your calendars.
