Fated Strife

Well, yesterday was uh, uneventful, I did get to talk with Angel for about 30 minutes or so which was good. Only 23 days and 12 hours until my plane leaves. Talked to him a little today too, he had to go to some loan class thing for the real estate stuff he’s doing.

Today, was eventful. I started my day at 07something, I kept dozing off but kept getting woke up , I got up and dragged around for a bit around 08:45 and my day was set. After being up for a bit I noticed I couldn’t turn my neck to the left, well I could but it was very painful to do. I finished up my last Lortab which I would’ve made last a tad longer today but forgot the availability time on those drugs.

At 10:00 I was at the dentist. They filled my last two teeth that needed it and put some sealant on my back top right molar, apparently it needs to be either pulled or capped. The cap will cost around $650. The removal should be cheaper I think. The total cost for the work done today was $400, was shocked when I heard that.

Went and got a tea and some gas (finally my gauge says it’s above the little E at the bottom and close to a half of a tank) then went home and moped around.

13:45 I left to pick up my mri images from the hospital, radiology at the actual hospital didn’t have it and called around for me and told me to go to the new outpatient center and get it from their radiology place. By that time, it was 14:30 and my Physical Therapy appointment was at 14:45 so told the lady there I had to leave cause of that and I’ll get them later (turns out I didn’t need them for that anyway after being told I needed them) so when I leaving the phone rang and my cd was done and ready to take with me so got it and hit up the PT.

I raced up to their offices (which happen to be on the opposite hall off where Dr. Sullivan’s offices are), got checked in etc.

Taken back met the physical therapist guy, he poked on me some, moved my legs all weird and finally said my pelvis is horribly screwed up. One side isn’t in the right position like the other and neither were in the right place. So he gave me some stuff to do at home and since insurance is paying in full for 20 sessions I get to go back, first this Friday at 14:20. I received a large envelope stuffed with papers to fill out from pain management. All sorts of questions on there so gotta fill that out, and my appointment that I was told was here in town is in Johnson City, but the lady on the phone said I could request for future appoints to be here. I need to call back and see if there’s anything sooner cause that’s running too close to my departure.

I think that’s it. No, one other thing, 5 years ago today, FFXI was released in Japan.

Well my day is done, time to try to rest up for tomorrow.

This weekend was pretty bland. Talked with Angel about 10 or so minutes Saturday and Sunday.

I picked up SNL, The Best of Will Farrell part 1 Saturday, rented part 2 and best of Adam Sandler earlier and watched them. I like Will Farrell’s comedy, “The Lovers”, “Behind the Actors Studio”, “Harry Caray”, so many.

I participated in besieged today on FFXI, it was level 7, they lost the astral candy and I died numerous times. Figure I could go out and heal people and such since I don’t have anyone to play with that often on there.

I just slept most of the afternoon, got up around 10 to talk to Angel, he got on around 1130 or so finally, then was watching that dvd after he left for a bit and finally the brain ache was back so decided to nap for a bit.

I’m hopefully going to get PHP 5 installed in the near future, been putting it off since most of the stuff I use works just find in PHP4, and 5 still has some problems I hear but would like to use some of the new functionality it has added. Might help with the memory 4 consumes on some scripts.

My Guyot figure should be here today, UPS says it’s in Nashville so I’m guessing its around here now and just not updated this weekend since it’s still on time for delivery for today. We’ll see.

Well, there’s not been much going on this week. I got to talk to Angel for around a hour or so on Tuesday which was nice. I’ll finally be flying out there in 26 days, I can’t wait.

I got one of those horrible unresponsive to abortive medicine migraines Tuesday and it went on through Wednesday which finally made me have to to go to the ER. They had written down nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea instead of nausea, vomiting, migraine on my chart which is one of the reasons I think I had to wait quite a bit more time to see the doctor (well nurse practitioner in my case). After finding out that I was there for the migraine rather than the stomach crap going around she apologized and such. There was some woman in there with her lady friend who apparently was angry about having to wait 25 minutes on her friend’s “nausea shot” so she called up some doctor at the hospital and was complaining about it (think she called a few people). Not sure what ever became of them. Got my dilaudid and promethazine shot and it helped with the staggering pain.

Unfortunately, the late trip from the hospital and the fact I had to leave my car there and all made me miss my physical therapy appointment I had Thursday but we got it rescheduled for the 16th, I also happen to have a dentist appointment that morning, so I figure its going to be a busy day.

I procured the new Guyver Anime disc 2 boxed set thing today. I usually put the subtitles on for dvds and such and noticed that the subtitles for it do not match up that great with what they’re saying in english on there.

I also decided to start up the Guyverpedia, something I’ve wanted to do for many years now. Hopefully this time it’ll pick up since there seems to be more of a following of the Guyver series now. So click the link and start adding content!

I guess that’s all for now, I gotta get up to talk to Angel in the morning and might plant some stuff. I’ve got to pick up some stuff for my new shelf too (pictures to come soon).
