Fated Strife

Well the past few days have been.. boring as usual.

Got up around 9 yesterday, hadn’t got much sleep the night before (haven’t been able to sleep good lately) and talked with Angel for a little bit but he had to go. I attempted to sleep after that for a little bit but the phone kept ringing (the ringer does not turn off on the base for my phone, I can turn off the ringer completely on the phone itself but the base ringer only goes to a certain volume), Chase called about 9 times finally they stopped calling, then this stupid “Gallup” company trying to take some survey. Even though telling them no one was interested in participating in this house they continued to call. I think they finally stopped though, they seemed to violate the hours that they are allowed to call in though cause they called past 9pm one night and around 7:40am yesterday.

I got season 3 of Futurama yesterday, Circuit City was trying to sell it (along with season 1 and 4) for about $35-$40, but walmart had 3 and 4 for $20. I picked up some dollar movie they had which has 2 movies on it, some “Bruce Lee” (one of his many clones I’m sure) and Blast: The Final Comedown with Billy Dee Williams in it.

I decided to order a Guyver figure I’ve been wanting for, well, since it came out. It’s the Richard Gyuot zoalord figure, this will go good with the original Max Factory model I own of it and the Aptom IV figure I bought, well back before I had my surgery so it’s been out for some time now. I’m going to have to get some shelves to install on the wall to hold my collection more now since I’m about out of room for them, most of my figures are compacted together on one shelf or another so the extra space will help out. They’re also releasing Zoalord Pluqstahl as well as a few others I really want to get when they are released.

Well I guess that’s all, I’m waiting on Angel to get on so I guess I’m going to go do that.

Well I got to see my doctor yesterday about the Ultram ER doing all that weird crap. He placed me on Hydrocodone/APAP 10/500’s for breakthrough pain and I have been referred to Physical Therapy and to Pain Management, which I’ll be going to on the 10th of this month and 4th of next month, respectively.

I had checked with the pharmacy a few times yesterday and my pain meds hadn’t been called in so wasn’t sure what happened with that so I left a message at my doctor’s office saying it hadn’t been called in and to have them call me back. Got called around 7 this morning and got it all called in and such and was notified this afternoon of when my PT and pain management appointments are.

Talked to Angel for a little bit yesterday and today, didn’t really get to talk much at all this week with him.

It stormed some this evening, it was looking pretty bad outside but it only lasted for about an hour or so, power didn’t go out but there was a short surge there at first. I need to get an UPS placed on my equipment on the rack so my network will stay up during a power outage. The UPS I had been using for that stuff (router, switch, a server or two) had it’s battery keel over. I’m wanting to pick up a rackmount one but just need to get some money put back for one sometime.

I also need to get some sort of luggage for my trip, there were some old crappy blue suitcases that’s been around forever it seems but I don’t want to use those if they’re still even around. So hopefully I can find some decent cheap ones at wal-mart or something like that.

I moved the power supply in my Phoenix computer from the top to the bottom of the case (it has room for 2 power supplies) last night, it took some looking to find which way the bracket to hold it in fit on the case. I saw something cool in the latest Maximum PC today, it’s Aerocool’s PowerWatch, thing looks pretty cool and I think it would make a great addition to the computer. It has media card readers in it too which would be nice to have too for my SD card from my camera.

Well I guess that’s all for today, gonna try to read and sleep.

Well, today was I guess better than they have been.

First, I saw a piece of mail for me from Sprint Nextel, looked like one of those checks they send you listing their current offerings. Instead it was a check for $318.10 for the credit I had built up on my Nextel account (this was years ago when I was with nextel). So it seems the finally noticed and sent me my check. Got some extra spending money to use on my trip soon.

Angel and I talked for about 20 minutes or so today. I also uploaded some new pictures to the Gallery, some flower pics, updated pics from the Phoenix computer, a few of me, another Adam one, probably some more that I just can’t recall.

I called my doctors office earlier and left a message for them to call me so I could get back in with Provance and get off that stupid Ultram crap.

Started getting a few registrations on Blogomatic, so hop on over and become the next blogomatic blogger.

I thought I had more to write about, but words escape me right now, so I guess I’ll blog whatever I wanted to later. Got the important stuff done anyway.
