The wind is moving
But I am standing still
A life of pages
Waiting to be filled
A heart that’s hopeful
I head that’s full of dreams
But this becoming
Is harder than it seems
Feels like I’m
Looking for a reason
Roamin’ for the night to find
My place in this world
My place in this world
Not a lot to lean on
I need your light to help me find
My place in this world
My place in this world
If there are millions
Down on their knees
Among the many
Can you still hear me
Hear me asking
Where do I belong?
Is there a vision
That I can call my own?
Show me, I’m
Looking for a reason
Roamin’ through the night to find
My place in this world
My place in this world
Not a lot to lean on
I need your light to help me find
My place in this world
My place in this world
Lookin’ for a reason
Roamin’ through the night to find
My place in this world
My place in this world
Not a lot to lean on
I need your light to help me find
My place in this world
My place in this world
Lookin’ for a reason
Roamin’ through the night to find
My place in this world
My place in this world
Nothing’s sacred, the days are cheap
Truth is thin on the ground
Still our prophets are crucified
Nobody believes we’re stumbling
It’s Friday, but Sunday is coming
Someone’s saying a prayer tonight
For hungry mouths to be filled
Someone kneels in the dark somewhere
And darkness is already crumbling
It’s Friday, but Sunday comes
Sunday – Hallelujah – it’s not so far, it’s not so far away
Sunday – Hallelujah – it’s not so far, it’s not so far away
Broken promises, weary hearts
But one promise remains:
Crucified, he will come again
It’s Friday, but Sunday is coming
It’s Friday, but Sunday is coming

Well its that time of year again. I hope everyone has had a blessed and wonderful Christmas.
Angel and I were able to talk both today and yesterday which was a gift of sorts. He was going to try to call today but never did but he said if he didn’t he would tomorrow or something. Hopefully this will work out for once.
I received the following this Christmas:
The gift of grace and love from The Lord
Silent Hill: Origins for the PSP from my stepdad
Silent Hill: Origins game guide from parents
Triforce themed Nintendo DS Lite with Zeruda no Densetsu Mugen no Sunadokei from my grandparents
Meade 70AZ-AR refracting telescope from parents
Final Fantasy XI - Wings of the Goddess expansion pack for the 360 from parents
The Sinusoidal Spaghetti by J.-M. Perelmuter from parents
TravelitePack by Joytech from parents
Gifts yet to come:
Cory got me this awesome figure to add to my Final Fantasy Creatures Collection. It’s actually one of the more expensive Master Creatures collection, he got me Bahamut.
Angel is supposed to be getting me something or already has it. No clue what though, excited about that and the fact he might throw those letters he wrote me a few months ago when he ships it.
Overall a good thing of gifts, I was really expecting the Telescope as my grandparents were going to buy it for me but I decided on the DS, so my parents got it instead for me. Really wish Angel was here for Christmas.
Most of all though, this isn’t about the gifts we give to each other, how much we spend. Its about celebrating the birth of our Savior, His life, the teachings He brought us, the death He suffered for all of our sins, His love for us, and the resurrection. This gift of grace and love is the most important for someone to want and to accept. It’s never too soon to accept that gift and accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
Well today was Thanksgiving as about everyone knows (especially those who could care less about being thankful for something other than the tons of food, that they usually start stuffing into their mouths so they don’t miss any of their precious sports game) They should be thankful that they have even food to eat, unlike those people out there now, be it by their own mistakes in life, or veterans who because of our government end up living on the streets. These people I’m sure are hungry, cold, lonely. I’m glad for these organizations who help these people by giving them food and a warm place to stay.
Little I see it done now, but there are those who want to do something good for others rather than themselves. They invite these people who are less fortunate than we, give them a nice meal, a warm place to spend some time with others, that might give them something to be thankful for. The person who thought not only of himself but those less fortunate than us who did something good for those who cant enjoy all the pleasures we have in ours. Maybe brightened their day, made a difference in someones life.
Next time Thanksgiving rolls around, or even any day for that matter, do something good, make a difference in someones life, invite them to your home, give them a nice warm meal, someone to talk to, may find out how the person ended up that way, it may encourage him to try again. And, in the end, you may learn something about yourself.
Unfortunately Angel and I wasn’t able to spend any time together today. Was looking forward to spending a little time with him. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll get to talk for awhile.
Our dinner consisted of 2 turkeys (Mary and mother made them), some American and English stuffings, some cranberry stuff, various gravies, potatoes of various types, rolls. All around good.
Got to spend some time around family, talked with Heather for awhile tonight then she had to go to bed as they are leaving early, was hoping we could have some more time to spend together.
I spent most of my evening when not down there watching Ghost Hunters marathon. Which brings me to my next thought.
My brother Adam has an imaginary friend. He’s a friendly ghost apparently. Called the Brown Man. Of course it seems to freak my mom out especially when my aunt, cousin, or myself go on our little questioning crusade about the brown man. I’m not much of a skeptic to some stuff, so curiosity is peaked and have been trying to see if this is something normal as many kids have an imaginary friend, but at times some of the stuff he says about/to “Man” is odd. I’d like to do some EVP testing eventually just to see if I can pick anything up which I doubt I will. Along with that, things have been weird at times, noises, the talking, etc. So I’d just like to get to the bottom of it all.
Adam is loving my GameBoy and PSP. Mario, Castlevania, etc. So I was able to play some with him and help him get past the harder spots. It’s fun watching get through the levels and enjoy the game.
I know there was more to this post than what’s there, hopefully someone will read it and it might make a difference, plus the Lunesta is kicking in so losing train of though.
I want to wish everyone who reads this (if there is anyone) a Merry Christmas!
During the busy days of getting all your gifts and figuring out which ones you want to return or who to pawn them off on, or wrapped up in making money off people by selling your PS3 for $2000, keep in mind the reason we even celebrate Christmas.
Luke 2:8-14
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
To many people, Christmas is just another day off work, or a day out of school, a time to go out and buy presents for your loved ones or visit with family you don’t get to see very often.
Though this is a time for love and giving, we should be doing that year round. This is the time to celebrate the birth of our Saviour and Messiah Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
God sent Jesus here so that we may be saved through his Grace and Love and by Jesus’ blood.
He did not send Jesus to condemn the world but to allow us to be saved through Him.
God loves us so much that He came to earth and died for us so that we may be able to live. Many don’t realize this and do not give their life to Jesus. Many who do give their life to Jesus do not live correctly. We are supposed to live by what the Bible says, this may seem difficult in these times but with Faith in Christ we will be able to overcome obstacles and temptations that block the way.
Many think they can just go and get saved and live their life as they did before, you can not do this. You must remember that Jesus died for us and that we should be living for Him. Live the life Jesus would have, do what is right, live by the 10 Commandments, obey the Word of God and you shall be rewarded greatly in Heaven.
I heard on a Christian music station this morning, that apparently the shepards that went to see Jesus when He was born, were the shepards that looked over the sacrifical lambs in the temple. They knew to go to Jesus as he would be the final sacrifice for man’s sins. I found this quite interesting as I have never looked in depth about that particular subject.
The point I am trying to make, is not to forget what CHRISTmas is all about, it is about Christ, and his suffering on the cross so that we may be washed in His blood and saved by the grace of God.
I don’t want to close without helping show the way to Jesus so that you too, may be saved by his blood and the grace of God.
Possibly, you may not know how to pray. I invite you to say this simple prayer and mean it with your heart:
Jesus, come into my heart. Save me. Be my Lord. Be my Savior. I repent of my sins. Jesus, I want to serve You all the days of my life. I’m not everything I want to be Jesus, but I know You’ll make me into what You want me to be. Jesus, I’ll serve You all the days.
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. –Romans 10:9-10
I believe if you said this simple prayer, and meant it with your heart, that you are Saved by the Grace and Glory of God.
