Yesterday was Adam’s 3rd birthday, so Happy Birthday Adam!

My mom and Derek are throwing him a small birthday party this evening so going to go to that. I’ll try to get some pictures from it.

Angel didn’t get on anymore this week, which sucks. I really hope he’ll be on this morning for a minute even so we can talk some. Hopefully things went ok with the ride-along and stuff.

Cory and I unlocked both Dancer and Scholar jobs on FFXI on Thursday, we decided to level them some, was trying to get to level 10. He chose Dancer so I took on Scholar. Unfortunately Scholar can only use staves, clubs and daggers. I was really hoping to be able to use a sword.

We got to level 7 that night before I had to pass out, hopefully we’ll be able to level some more this weekend or such, if he didn’t run off and level without me

We also finished WotG Mission 2: Back to the Beginning and got the 3rd mission but for now that’s as far as we could go, until SE releases more missions. The new expansion requires a lot of running around, can’t use chocobos or anything really. I sure hope they add those in soon so we can get around a bit faster. Also, a certain character from the Final Fantasy games past makes an appearance in the first and third missions thus far. So even more reason to do them is to see who it is.

My mom finally went to the doctor and was given a steroid shot for her Neurodermatitis which has spread all over her body and face. Then was suggested to soak her really bad foot in epsom salt but that stuff going into the open wound on her foot wasn’t fun.

My week has been messed up as well. My itching and crap is getting bad, I’ve not been able to sleep much, had a few migraines, and the past few nights (especially Wednesday) I have been woken up several times during the night to urinate. It was bad the first night as it would wake me up hardly an hour after I got to sleep each time. Not really sure why its happening now, maybe just an infection, but its driving me nuts. I hardly have any energy either, even when I do get some sleep I am still tired. I know my anemia can do this but I don’t think its back to that point where it made me feel this miserable.

I guess that’s it, I’m gonna try to get some sleep so I can get up and try to talk to Angel. I don’t recall if I had more to post or not but if I remember I can always post later I guess.

Not much has been going on recently. My mom’s birthday was Monday, she’s 47 now.

I saw my primary doctor Monday as well, he gave me some Vistaril and Triamcinolone lotion for my legs and feet as lately they have been really bad with itching, rashes, etc. My mom also has the skin problem on her legs but is much different than mine.

I finally used the lotion stuff today (can’t use too much of it as I believe it can cause adrenal suppression as other corticosteroids can). The itching has went away quite a bit but it may or may not have been the lotion.

I ended up with this horrible migraine today, it woke me up around 7am and I stayed in bed pretty late but by 3pm it was still around so went to the ED. Some Dilaudid and Phenergan helped it and was also prescribed a few lortab for pain that may be around when the dilaudid wears off. That’s the first time any of the doctors at the ED or urgent care or such has offered anything for home use, and the person I saw today was very nice and understanding about these things. I hope one day I can be migraine free again but I doubt it.

I talked to angel for a few minutes Monday as well but haven’t heard from him the past 2 days, hopefully he’ll be on tomorrow some so we can talk.

I’m getting one of these for Christmas, due to the fact I’m such a big Zelda fan and I missed out on getting the LE gold Triforce GameBoy Advance. I’m curious if anyone has any suggestions on which games to get for the DS? I’m already getting Phantom Hourglass with that DS, I hope to pick up the New Super Mario Bros. game for it as well sometime. Trauma Center is also another game I’m thinking of getting sometime but other than those I have no idea what good games are out, so if you have a suggestion please leave a comment.

House yesterday was interesting. I napped until about 15 minutes into the show but thanks to TiVo I was able to watch it all. I’ll refrain from spoiling the episode but it had an interesting story, the PotW’s case had me confused for the most part. The story line with the new candidates and Wilson and such was also pretty good.
Any comments from readers about the episode (or the season for that matter)?

Its supposed to be cold and snowy tomorrow day for awhile. I’m really hoping it’ll snow a good amount, the weather forecast had it as flurries but now it just shows clouds with some snowflakes.

I can’t think of much else right now, my head is still hurting a bit and I am pretty sleepy now. I did update Cory’s bands site, you can also view previous and upcoming shows now thanks to a nifty WP plugin. I hope he starts using the blog and such soon.

Also, yesterday the rapper Bryan Williams (The Birdman), was arrested here while he was passing through on drug charges. I saw this on the news after House went off, I know people are arrested all the time but this is some big news for the area so I figured I’d share. Today was a lazy day to say the least. It started raining last night pretty good, had a severe weather alert of dense fog and all that junk. Today it was off and on and then started coming down pretty heavy late into the evening. Still is raining, wind is going pretty good too at WNW 16mph.

Unfortunately Angel had to go to the office again today then to school, he was supposed to get on after school (thus me writing this late) but hasn’t yet, so probably couldn’t get on.

Talked to my aunt Mary and cousin Heather today some. They’re coming up possibly next week or something I think. Haven’t seen them in a year or two so should be interesting.

They’ve started remodeling a pretty confusing intersection near here, one that I use many times a day (thats when I actually go out anywhere). It’s a 5 way intersection (traffic light controlled) with many no left/right turns depending on which way you’re going. Really just confusing all around. Now they have the entire thing closed as they build a roundabout thing there, this is going to take I think 9 weeks or something along those lines. I was a pain today since I had a few places I had to run to that involved using that intersection 4 times I think so had to use detours. It’s also one of the main roads the ambulances use to get to the hospital and all so they’ve rerouted that as well.

The Ghost Hunters season finale was on yesterday. I TiVoed it and the other 3 episodes they were showing tonight. I thought it was pretty good and gave some neat info about TAPS.

I’m having some pretty severe epigastric pain right now, as well as this splitting headache. I really do need to call Sullivan’s office and see what we should do. The reflux is getting pretty ridiculous and I’m pretty sure another coagulation will offer some improvement.

I thought I had more to talk about but I guess not. Time for sleep..

This makes my 800th blog post, can’t believe I’ve posted that many.

House was on tonight, it was pretty good but I’m just not enjoying the season so far. It may be where the cabins aren’t part of his team now (though they’re still around to participate, and Foreman is back with House) and probably just need to get used to the new potential team members. Also, House doesn’t seem to be popping Vicodin in as many scenes as the previous seasons, at least not that I’ve noticed.

Past few weeks have sucked a lot, haven’t talked to Angel since last Wednesday or so, hopefully he’ll be on tomorrow.

My cough started back up some today, the last round of antibiotics seemed to have rid me of this crap. Which for the most part it did, but either my asthma has went nuts or I don’t know why this cough has stuck around for so long. It’s also unnerving with these headaches. When I’m not in migraine mode I occasionally get these sharp stabbing pains in the same place that tends to hurt the worst when I have a migraine. It also happens if I’m straining or if I get up too quick or such (though I get more lightheaded than I used to when I would stand up too quick). Hopefully one of my doctors will be able to figure out what the deal with that area is and to get these migraines under control some.

Not surprising, my reflux has been getting progressively worse again, I’ve been without coagulation on my LES and dilation of my esophagus for quite awhile now which I am happy about but I believe I’m due for a stretch and burn soon. Bobbie had mentioned it would be around this time when I would probably need one if things didn’t improve. I’ll have to call Sullivan’s office up here soon and see my new nurse practitioner to see what they want to do. Anymore they just let me decide when I think I need to have that done.

I received both my Darth Malak/Darth Revan and Holographic Commander Cody figures today! I was surprised to not only get them this soon but to get them both on the same day. They’re pretty cool, though the Darth Revan figure doesn’t stand up well. His robe probably unbalances him thus causing him to fall over but I’ve got him propped up some. I’ve decided to leave the Cody figure in his package for the time being, since I already have a Cody figure out (though he’s the non holographic one).

Silent Hill Origins is finally out! This is something that can be considered on my wishlist now. I didn’t see it in any stores when I was out at them last week so guess I can just hope I get it for Christmas since it’s coming up soon. I hope it’s good and has controls like SH3 or better. I’m not sure how it’s going to do since its on PSP, the only other game I have and actually play on it is the Dracula X Chronicles and you can only choose to use directional OR analog stick to move but not both (which I would like to have both for SotN).

Having just seen one of the new Pepto Bismol commercials, I have to complain about how much I despise Hardee’s/Carl Jr’s commercials. You have these “manly” men on there, basically taking huge bites of food, chomping their food loudly, smacking their lips, mouth open. ripping the cheese off the wrapper. I find people eating like that rude, disgusting, irritating, too many to list. Makes me want to eat there even less. Then again I don’t really want to eat a burger that has more calories than I consume in a week.

I’ve also got a post planned in my head, basically about Stairway to Heaven backwards. Most people know about it, probably have heard it. But, theres a part in the song where its just the music going without vocals and it really sounds like this baby crying. It does it twice and I have yet to hear it in any of the other parts of the song and I’m pretty sure its not the guitars causing it as you can clearly hear them as well during that part. I’ll get some clips and such made up here soon and see what others think about it.

I guess that’s all for now, time to sleep so I can just wake up tired. I had a horrible time falling asleep yesterday though, I’d be drifting off and then jerk awake. The first time was because of my own hand, I was lying there and my right hand was near my left by my hand and it just felt like someone else touching my hand. Then people being loud downstairs kept keeping me from dozing off. Finally I was going to sleep again and it sounded like gunshot near my head. Wasn’t as loud as one but was pretty loud. I’m still not sure what it was.

Well today was boring.

Didn’t get to talk to Angel and he didn’t get my message that I had to leave before he got on since he used MSN today instead of POL. Not been talking much anyway, hit a rough spot in our friendship I guess. Hopefully we can get things worked out and remain friends still.

I had to adjust the date and time on the server as it seems time likes to go by a bit too quick on here. I have clockspeed installed and such but just haven’t set it up to actually run as a daemon or such to keep the time updated. I need to find a way to do this with a service script for daemontools.

I got my auction paid for yesterday finally, when I went to deposit the check to pay for it, the ATM was still broke, but at least they were fixing it (I think) while I was there. One of the tellers there heard my cell phone ringing and identified it as Suicide is Painless from M*A*S*H.

I added a few more figures to my collection yesterday, or maybe the day before. They are Clone Trooper Officer (yellow) and Boba Fett. I think the Fett looks pretty good, I’d like to see one with a removable helmet.

I hope my Darth Revan and Darth Malak will arrive soon, it was entered into the USPS system yesterday afternoon, so should be going out tomorrow at the latest.

It’s been getting cold here, for awhile there in October it was up in the low 90-80s. Now it’s around 50-60 or so during the day. Last night I think it got down to the low 20’s. Here is a graph from 11/02-11/09/2007, the temps seem to always be off a few degrees. Currently my thermometer says for outside temp that it’s 34.2F, Forecastfox says 35. Anyway, pretty graph:

I guess that’s all, I keep losing my train of though, didn’t realize how late it was, but I usually don’t notice when I can’t sleep. Though I feel exhausted and all.

Also it seems that you be able to finally invite others into your mog house. Nobody to visit mine though I guess, though there is Cory who I’m sure would love to see all the junk taking up my inventory.

There’s an event going on now that is meant to bring in the new expansion. I used to have someone to do these events with, I may still do it to try to get one or both of the reward items. Maybe Cory will want to do that as well. Details on the event here.
