Fated Strife

Well yesterday we got my new full sized bed in. After spending the morning and part of the afternoon moving dressers, tables, and tons of assorted junk (threw out a desk and a ton more of old magazines, papers, and stuff I have no use for Wednesday or Thursday) and taking an occasional break we got it moved up here.

Unfortunately I have maybe a 1-1 1/2 feet of room between this desk and my bed but enough room for my chair and the cabinet behind me, I’ll eventually get that fixed I guess. The bed is pretty comfy and all but its also pretty high off the ground, the top of it is about 3 feet from the floor. Plus plenty of room for me to roll around on or such I guess.

Talked to Angel today as usual, he had to do some stuff before he got on at 11:00 but finally was able to around 13:45. We talked for a bit about some various things. He got his check cashed and all and the travel place he went to was closed supposedly because the owners house burned down from the horrible SoCal fires. He said he was going to get them from somewhere else yesterday so hopefully he’ll have good news for me this morning.

I’ve been feeling rather poorly the past few days, health wise, emotionally is always down in the depths except for those rare bits of good news/good things that happen. Anyway, I had been feeling weak on Thursday and headache and body aches and some coughing. Yesterday morning around 03:00 I was up and retching my guts out, quite a bit of BRB (Bright Red Blood). I’m thinking the blood is from either my sinuses but more than likely another Mallory-Weiss tear but it seems to have healed up.

Friday I just woke up sore, eyes burning/hurting, head hurting, nose draining into throat, throat sore, coughing like mad, coughing junk up, weakness, etc. Just generally everything, including right ear seems a bit blocked up and hurtful sometimes. I’d sure like to know what I’ve got this time and get it taken care of ASAP.

My abdomen has been cramping pretty bad yesterday and today, had a bit of it Thursday as well but not like it is doing right now. I’m placing my bet on the chinese food I ate at both days, buuut I also had some super tasty popcorn balls and some other junk I’m probably allergic to.

Anyway that’s all, I have to try to get some sleep so I can wake up in time to chat with Angel. Then I guess I’ll pick up some more stuff in my room and try to make it more presentable than it has been though it’s looking much better now than it did.

I’ll upload some new bed and clean room pictures in this post later today or something.

Well, not much happened today.

Angel and I got to talk for a few minutes today, he’s supposed to be on early tomorrow so hopefully we’ll get to talk more and catch up on whats been going on.

He got his check in the mail, not sure if today or yesterday on when it came in. This means he can get the tickets out here finally! He says he is going to the travel place to get the tickets tomorrow, I hope he does and nothing else goes awry and messes this up.

The new season (and last) of Scrubs started today, I TiVo’d it and am currently watching it (trying to, dozing off and trying to type this). The first viewing of the episode it seemed ok, lots of changes going on with the characters. I’m really anticipating learning Janitor’s real name.

My laptop no longer functions correctly, I lost my temper at it being a piece of junk and always crashing and the lcd was messing up and finally a straw broke my back and my fist hit it, thus causing the screen to break. Stupid I know, but the machine was almost dead anyway.

I’ve been looking for something to replace it with, something affordable (under $600ish), so possibly a Dell if they have any at the walmarts around here, or a Toshiba cause I’ve seem great reviews and some people I know have that brand and like it. Anything has to be better than Compaq’s crap. The 2 previous Compaq laptops have had to be shipped off for repair, especially on the motherboard due to mainly the power adapter plug breaking off the motherboard. Really sucky service as well.

If you, my readers, have any suggestions on a model of laptop you have or like please, please post a comment with those. I’d love to see what everyone has had success with and such. Another laptop I’ve been looking at, which I REALLY would love to have is a MacBook. So if anyone sees any deals on those for less than $1k (the Apple store is selling them starting at $1,099), please let me know, also any deals you may know of would be appreciated. Even something else is a Mac mini, I think those are pretty cool, small, etc but I would need to get a display for it (got a ton of keyboards and mice I think still).

My new bed arrives tomorrow, didn’t do much cleaning today, mother and grandma and adam went to the mall while I waited on Angel to get online and he didn’t get on til late afternoon so couldn’t work on it after they got back from the mall since I was still waiting to talk.

Well the past few days have been.. boring as usual.

Got up around 9 yesterday, hadn’t got much sleep the night before (haven’t been able to sleep good lately) and talked with Angel for a little bit but he had to go. I attempted to sleep after that for a little bit but the phone kept ringing (the ringer does not turn off on the base for my phone, I can turn off the ringer completely on the phone itself but the base ringer only goes to a certain volume), Chase called about 9 times finally they stopped calling, then this stupid “Gallup” company trying to take some survey. Even though telling them no one was interested in participating in this house they continued to call. I think they finally stopped though, they seemed to violate the hours that they are allowed to call in though cause they called past 9pm one night and around 7:40am yesterday.

I got season 3 of Futurama yesterday, Circuit City was trying to sell it (along with season 1 and 4) for about $35-$40, but walmart had 3 and 4 for $20. I picked up some dollar movie they had which has 2 movies on it, some “Bruce Lee” (one of his many clones I’m sure) and Blast: The Final Comedown with Billy Dee Williams in it.

I decided to order a Guyver figure I’ve been wanting for, well, since it came out. It’s the Richard Gyuot zoalord figure, this will go good with the original Max Factory model I own of it and the Aptom IV figure I bought, well back before I had my surgery so it’s been out for some time now. I’m going to have to get some shelves to install on the wall to hold my collection more now since I’m about out of room for them, most of my figures are compacted together on one shelf or another so the extra space will help out. They’re also releasing Zoalord Pluqstahl as well as a few others I really want to get when they are released.

Well I guess that’s all, I’m waiting on Angel to get on so I guess I’m going to go do that.

Well today was meh. Slept in some, just don’t have much energy still. I was getting some of my energy back then it just dropped again.

Talked with Angel for a few minutes today, he was going to try to call, never did hear from him so guess he couldn’t. He’s supposed to find out about how things are going to go when I’m out there visiting, I had assumed he had a general idea but wasn’t too sure.

My back has been killing me all evening, I was hoping the Ultram might help, it still might since I get to switch over to 200mg/day now . I just don’t care for the tiredness it causes, the hydrocodone or such doesn’t cause me to get that tired. Unfortunately its not enough tired to help me fall asleep so still have to use Lunesta at night.

Time for sleep gonna hopefully get to talk to Angel for a bit tomorrow(technically today) so we’ll see I guess.
