Well, the past few weeks have been mostly boring as they tend to be. I setup a WoW server so Cory and myself could play on it, having great fun with all the GM powers. Finally got his Christmas present sent out to him, should be there today (Friday).

Angel and I finally got to talk yesterday for a few minutes, hadn’t heard from him in 2 weeks so was nice that we got to talk at least.

I will be placing an application for Police Officer with our city shortly. I’ve been thinking about it and even though medicine is something I love, I’ve loved the police deal much longer. Plus the time and money it would take to become an MD is just too much right now. I’ve contacted one of the former officers I know about a reference and with some questions about the hiring process. I am waiting for another longtime friend officer to return my call. I’m going to put all my effort into getting the job. I just would like a clear rundown on what the process is like so I can better prepare. I know one part requires a number of push/sit-ups and then running a mile all within 12 minutes. I can do the *ups but I’m not sure yet on the mile but I could probably do that but wouldn’t hurt to train a bit before as Angel mentioned.

Guess we’ll see in the following months how this is going. Really want to make it.

Watched House on Sunday but my TiVo only got part of it since it recorded 23 minutes early. Actually.. it recorded on time, the post game crap ran late and made me lose the last 30 minutes or so of the show. From what I saw though it seemed pretty good. Tuesday’s episodes was quite interesting, mainly the character’s stories. The POTW case was pretty interesting as well.

I also added the 7th Legion and Hawkbat Battalion clones to my collection. Pics soon.

Well today was okay.

I woke up around 12 for some reason though my alarm was blaring beside me to see that angel had said something in FFXI chat thing. I felt devastated thinking I had missed him but I saw he was still in the room but was afk. So we did get to talk, albeit not for long but was glad to be able to talk to him. Had been over a week since we last talked. I really hope things get better to where we can talk more often than we have.

I talked to Cory for a bit this afternoon which was fun.

Got to goto the Circuit City and pickup SAW IV, it was an interesting movie. But this is where the bad starts. Midway through the movie it starts skipping or freezing, or both. Not consistently but always when things are getting good it does it. I hope it was just the disc and not my xbox 360 doing that.

I was preparing for sleep and was giving my glasses an adjustment when the top piece on the right side broke. I usually have kept two pairs in the event of this happening again. Unfortunately, this was my backup pair. So now, I have superglue poorly holding the lens to the sides and top and now I have to go to the eye doctor tomorrow sometime to get a replacement ordered. Probably new frames too cause they wont be able to get these frames again since they’re pretty old.

I’ve been reading “Darth Bane: Path of Darkness” it’s a good book thus far and I recommend if you like those books or Star Wars at all to pick it up and read it.

Now to bed so I wont be late to awake in the morning.

This makes my 800th blog post, can’t believe I’ve posted that many.

House was on tonight, it was pretty good but I’m just not enjoying the season so far. It may be where the cabins aren’t part of his team now (though they’re still around to participate, and Foreman is back with House) and probably just need to get used to the new potential team members. Also, House doesn’t seem to be popping Vicodin in as many scenes as the previous seasons, at least not that I’ve noticed.

Past few weeks have sucked a lot, haven’t talked to Angel since last Wednesday or so, hopefully he’ll be on tomorrow.

My cough started back up some today, the last round of antibiotics seemed to have rid me of this crap. Which for the most part it did, but either my asthma has went nuts or I don’t know why this cough has stuck around for so long. It’s also unnerving with these headaches. When I’m not in migraine mode I occasionally get these sharp stabbing pains in the same place that tends to hurt the worst when I have a migraine. It also happens if I’m straining or if I get up too quick or such (though I get more lightheaded than I used to when I would stand up too quick). Hopefully one of my doctors will be able to figure out what the deal with that area is and to get these migraines under control some.

Not surprising, my reflux has been getting progressively worse again, I’ve been without coagulation on my LES and dilation of my esophagus for quite awhile now which I am happy about but I believe I’m due for a stretch and burn soon. Bobbie had mentioned it would be around this time when I would probably need one if things didn’t improve. I’ll have to call Sullivan’s office up here soon and see my new nurse practitioner to see what they want to do. Anymore they just let me decide when I think I need to have that done.

I received both my Darth Malak/Darth Revan and Holographic Commander Cody figures today! I was surprised to not only get them this soon but to get them both on the same day. They’re pretty cool, though the Darth Revan figure doesn’t stand up well. His robe probably unbalances him thus causing him to fall over but I’ve got him propped up some. I’ve decided to leave the Cody figure in his package for the time being, since I already have a Cody figure out (though he’s the non holographic one).

Silent Hill Origins is finally out! This is something that can be considered on my wishlist now. I didn’t see it in any stores when I was out at them last week so guess I can just hope I get it for Christmas since it’s coming up soon. I hope it’s good and has controls like SH3 or better. I’m not sure how it’s going to do since its on PSP, the only other game I have and actually play on it is the Dracula X Chronicles and you can only choose to use directional OR analog stick to move but not both (which I would like to have both for SotN).

Having just seen one of the new Pepto Bismol commercials, I have to complain about how much I despise Hardee’s/Carl Jr’s commercials. You have these “manly” men on there, basically taking huge bites of food, chomping their food loudly, smacking their lips, mouth open. ripping the cheese off the wrapper. I find people eating like that rude, disgusting, irritating, too many to list. Makes me want to eat there even less. Then again I don’t really want to eat a burger that has more calories than I consume in a week.

I’ve also got a post planned in my head, basically about Stairway to Heaven backwards. Most people know about it, probably have heard it. But, theres a part in the song where its just the music going without vocals and it really sounds like this baby crying. It does it twice and I have yet to hear it in any of the other parts of the song and I’m pretty sure its not the guitars causing it as you can clearly hear them as well during that part. I’ll get some clips and such made up here soon and see what others think about it.

I guess that’s all for now, time to sleep so I can just wake up tired. I had a horrible time falling asleep yesterday though, I’d be drifting off and then jerk awake. The first time was because of my own hand, I was lying there and my right hand was near my left by my hand and it just felt like someone else touching my hand. Then people being loud downstairs kept keeping me from dozing off. Finally I was going to sleep again and it sounded like gunshot near my head. Wasn’t as loud as one but was pretty loud. I’m still not sure what it was.

Well today was boring.

Didn’t get to talk to Angel and he didn’t get my message that I had to leave before he got on since he used MSN today instead of POL. Not been talking much anyway, hit a rough spot in our friendship I guess. Hopefully we can get things worked out and remain friends still.

I had to adjust the date and time on the server as it seems time likes to go by a bit too quick on here. I have clockspeed installed and such but just haven’t set it up to actually run as a daemon or such to keep the time updated. I need to find a way to do this with a service script for daemontools.

I got my auction paid for yesterday finally, when I went to deposit the check to pay for it, the ATM was still broke, but at least they were fixing it (I think) while I was there. One of the tellers there heard my cell phone ringing and identified it as Suicide is Painless from M*A*S*H.

I added a few more figures to my collection yesterday, or maybe the day before. They are Clone Trooper Officer (yellow) and Boba Fett. I think the Fett looks pretty good, I’d like to see one with a removable helmet.

I hope my Darth Revan and Darth Malak will arrive soon, it was entered into the USPS system yesterday afternoon, so should be going out tomorrow at the latest.

It’s been getting cold here, for awhile there in October it was up in the low 90-80s. Now it’s around 50-60 or so during the day. Last night I think it got down to the low 20’s. Here is a graph from 11/02-11/09/2007, the temps seem to always be off a few degrees. Currently my thermometer says for outside temp that it’s 34.2F, Forecastfox says 35. Anyway, pretty graph:

I guess that’s all, I keep losing my train of though, didn’t realize how late it was, but I usually don’t notice when I can’t sleep. Though I feel exhausted and all.

Also it seems that you be able to finally invite others into your mog house. Nobody to visit mine though I guess, though there is Cory who I’m sure would love to see all the junk taking up my inventory.

There’s an event going on now that is meant to bring in the new expansion. I used to have someone to do these events with, I may still do it to try to get one or both of the reward items. Maybe Cory will want to do that as well. Details on the event here.

Well, a few days ago I decided to crack open my Knights of the Old Republic II game. I had to start from the beginning due to my old save file being on my Xbox as opposed to my 360.

Today I finally reached the final boss, which I haven’t beat yet though I’ve only fought them once. I was able to get my lightsaber complete within the first 2 or 3 planets. It’s currently a silver blade with a “Vaprotan crystal” which seems to be the most powerful crystal in the game since it’s based on your character or such. I decided to go with the Light Side though DS points seem to be fairly easy to get too.

It has quite a few bugs, namely it likes to freeze up when the framerate drops, I lost quite a bit of time because of that and not having saved close to where it froze. I’ve been saving quite a bit more now after these tougher battles.

I also managed to procure the following items in a set on eBay today for $30, doesn’t seem a bad price at all considering you can’t find the figures in the stores or on most online stores as they are always out of stock it seems.

Hopefully they’ll arrive this week or early next week so I can add them along to my collection.

House was on tonight, it was fairly interesting. Seems he found another person who’s going to be on his team, at least for now. There’s some local elections going on so the show was in a small window on screen at times, I think they should’ve just waited until the news to display that since it comes on right after House. I was shocked about the team member that was disposed of today and why.

I’d like to get a pack of these sometime and also this one would be nice as well as this one.

I need to get an appointment with my neurologist before the 26th since that’s when I go back to my regular doctor. Hopefully they can get me in by then. I also need to go see Dr. Sullivan (well his new Nurse Practitioner) soon too.

I guess that’s all for now, nothing else going on to talk about thats good.
