Current Mood:Disappointed emoticon Disappointed & Sleepy emoticon Sleepy

Well things have been okay I guess recently. Mothers been up here helping my grandparents clean and such and helping me do some stuff this past week.

Talked to Angel on Tuesday, his family have had some problems lately and his sister had to goto the hospital cause of possible appendicitis. Looks like she’s home now, so not sure if they did any surgery or not. He was supposed to get on Wednesday and let me know whats up but never did. Thought he might’ve on Thursday but didn’t hear from him. :(

I’ve noticed recently that I’m often fatigued, I suffer from insomnia (treated with Lunesta) and get quite a bit of sleep (though I tend to be tired as well) but I just don’t seem to have the energy to do much. This could be explained due to my anemia, but it has been under control with the B12 and Iron shots I receive (and oral iron I take). I do not feel as if I am depressed (as often fatigue can go along with being depressed). My thyroid is ok (or has been in the last how many ever checks they’ve done), do don’t think its that.

I’m losing weight quite a bit too, not much appetite at times but that goes along with the nausea that seems to plague my life. I do have pain in my back and left leg (as mentioned in many other posts on here). Medline has an article about fatigue, but I’m just not sure what could be causing it.

I just can’t stand not having the energy to be able to get up and do anything. I guess I’ll ask Dr. Provance about it when I go see him on the 21st and go from there.

I ended up in the Emergency Department on Saturday night due to a migraine. I’ve doing all I can to avoid having to go there and just use bedrest and the plethora of meds I have for it, sometimes they help other times not so much. I’ve also been making a ‘migraine diary’ (You can find those on google) for Dr. Provance. I saw the doctor I had seen back in January that was rude to me about my many many visits to the ED last year, this time he was nicer. Talked about how I’ve been controlling them and said to just try to keep it up and if I needed to come back for one I could, just not every month/week/day and wouldn’t be a problem. So got some Dilaudid and Phenergan shot into my hip and went on my way.. and passed out.

Just wish my migraines would go away. My back pain is doing a bit worse than it was, I don’t think the tramadol is helping as much as it was. It especially gets bad at night so occasionally can’t sleep from the pain. So need to mention that to Provance too.

Oh well, so is life.

He’s done a wonderful job on the layout and its a really cool band so go check it out!

Well it’s been pretty much uneventful since my last post.

I saw Star Trek: First Contact the other day on the Sci-fi channel, I thought it was a pretty good movie, though I’m particularly enjoying the older shows/movies a bit more. If it’s got Dr. “Bones” McCoy in it, then its good.
I also saw A Scanner Darkly, it was interesting, I enjoyed the style it was made in. I’d like to find a copy to add to my collection.

I got a message from Angel on Saturday but we didn’t get to talk and I guess he wasn’t able to get on today.

My breakouts on my legs and feet seem to have subsided for the most part, the doctor placed me on 2 new meds to try to help with the itching as I had some good scratch marks all over my legs. One was Triamcinolone acetonide lotion to use on my legs to reduce inflammation and such. The other being Hydroxyzine(Vistaril), it is an H1 receptor antagonist antihistamine. Thus it would reducing the itching and such, but it also offers itself as an antiemetic (so it could help with my nausea), anxiolytic (reduces anxiety), and also shows weak analgesic properties. So hopefully this will help some at least to where I don’t want to itch so much.

My back has been in quite a bit of pain the past few days, today was pretty bad at some times, especially in the area where the spine and hips meet. I’m really hoping we can find something that can keep the pain under control when it does this (as my Tramadol does nothing for it) or something to just get it to not bother me at all. Wishful thinking I guess.

My mind has went blank now so I guess this concludes another post.. Until next time!

Also, thank you to those who participated in the polls I have mentioned in the past few posts.
