Fated Strife

Well I’m scheduled for colonoscopy on the 30th of this month. I have to start my wonderful prep of NuLYTELY the day before (along with mag citrate the day before that and 2 more on the day of prep). They’re going to check on this mass like thing over in my right colon and to do my usual checkup to see what polyps have shown up since my previous colonoscopy. I very much dread the prep and I really hope it will be a good prep this time as the past few haven’t cleaned me out as well as it should, thus the extra magnesium citrate stuff.

I saw my neurologist (who is color blind I learned) last week, I am scheduled for EEG, and Transcranial Ultrasound on the day after my colonoscopy. I also have to have an EMG performed on the 30th of August to check for nerve damage and such in my legs.

I saw my Pain Medicine FNP Monday, she was the one who setup the EMG and also placed me on Zanaflex for my back and to hopefully help with the muscle spasms I have when I take Ultram (which they placed me back on). Both them and my neurologist are getting my Lyrica dose up to the maximum daily one for the pain stuff and the other is to hopefully prevent my migraines. We’ll see how that works as so far I’ve noticed no change with the Lyrica, migraines are still rampant and my pain is still there, bursts of it which is severe and it makes me want to vomit when it happens.

Angel’s mom had to go to the doctor the other day and is now in the hospital as some tests are being done. He’s been really upset by it all and I hate to see him upset like that, we’ve had the same problems that she is in our family so I’ve seen how it goes and I just him to know everything is going to be alright with it and with all this medical stuff available now she will be fine. It’s been stressful on him even more I’m sure, along with the school stuff he’s having to do.

We’re supposed to be able to talk on the computer today some, so hopefully that’ll work and we will, easier for me to talk that way, or at least to help explain all the stuff to him. So if you’re the praying type, please pray for his mom.

I went and saw Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix last week, it was a fairly decent movie, I lost my place in that book but I was near the end so I grabbed a copy of the Half Blood Prince and had been reading that the past few days. I finished it Monday and started reading the final book; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. So far the book has been good, I know alot of whats going to happen but I still have to finish the book.

I guess that’s all, hopefully things will start to work out and things will get better soon.

Today was boring. I got up around 9:30, waited for Angel to get on, he did. Unfortunately he had to get off the computer cause his sister got him in trouble so we only got to talk for about 5 minutes.

I slept a bit more, guess it was a nap. I watched Catch me if you can on my new dvd of it, I always thought it was a pretty good movie.
I had a rough time getting to sleep last night, I was trying to just get to sleep early and fast so today would get here and I would be able to wake up in time for it. Anyway the colon was acting all crazy, the cramping was horrible. I laid there just waiting for it to go away or at least lighten up enough so that I could fall asleep which it finally did. I’m not sure what’s wrong with my bowels but they’re acting odd lately.

It just so happens to be colonoscopy year for me, so I’m going to have to get one of those setup eventually. I’m not sure if I’d want to do that before the trip or after I get back from it, I guess it depends on how my colon does this week. I’ve also got to call my doctors office and try to get an appointment with him before the trip so I can change these stupid pain killers cause of the spasms and crap I’m having with the Ultram, plus I need to see if there is something that can help with my anxiety and stuff of this trip and plane ride and all that.

Eh, I guess thats all for tonight.
Hopefully Angel will be able to talk more tomorrow and we can start planning this trip out there more. Maybe my stomach will be like a normal one and I won’t feel like such crap.

Well today was meh. Slept in some, just don’t have much energy still. I was getting some of my energy back then it just dropped again.

Talked with Angel for a few minutes today, he was going to try to call, never did hear from him so guess he couldn’t. He’s supposed to find out about how things are going to go when I’m out there visiting, I had assumed he had a general idea but wasn’t too sure.

My back has been killing me all evening, I was hoping the Ultram might help, it still might since I get to switch over to 200mg/day now . I just don’t care for the tiredness it causes, the hydrocodone or such doesn’t cause me to get that tired. Unfortunately its not enough tired to help me fall asleep so still have to use Lunesta at night.

Time for sleep gonna hopefully get to talk to Angel for a bit tomorrow(technically today) so we’ll see I guess.
