Fated Strife

Well I got to see my doctor yesterday about the Ultram ER doing all that weird crap. He placed me on Hydrocodone/APAP 10/500’s for breakthrough pain and I have been referred to Physical Therapy and to Pain Management, which I’ll be going to on the 10th of this month and 4th of next month, respectively.

I had checked with the pharmacy a few times yesterday and my pain meds hadn’t been called in so wasn’t sure what happened with that so I left a message at my doctor’s office saying it hadn’t been called in and to have them call me back. Got called around 7 this morning and got it all called in and such and was notified this afternoon of when my PT and pain management appointments are.

Talked to Angel for a little bit yesterday and today, didn’t really get to talk much at all this week with him.

It stormed some this evening, it was looking pretty bad outside but it only lasted for about an hour or so, power didn’t go out but there was a short surge there at first. I need to get an UPS placed on my equipment on the rack so my network will stay up during a power outage. The UPS I had been using for that stuff (router, switch, a server or two) had it’s battery keel over. I’m wanting to pick up a rackmount one but just need to get some money put back for one sometime.

I also need to get some sort of luggage for my trip, there were some old crappy blue suitcases that’s been around forever it seems but I don’t want to use those if they’re still even around. So hopefully I can find some decent cheap ones at wal-mart or something like that.

I moved the power supply in my Phoenix computer from the top to the bottom of the case (it has room for 2 power supplies) last night, it took some looking to find which way the bracket to hold it in fit on the case. I saw something cool in the latest Maximum PC today, it’s Aerocool’s PowerWatch, thing looks pretty cool and I think it would make a great addition to the computer. It has media card readers in it too which would be nice to have too for my SD card from my camera.

Well I guess that’s all for today, gonna try to read and sleep.

Today has been rainy, my left foot has some breaks in the skin which caused the bottom of my sock to be totally red, it hurts pretty bad too.

Got to talk to Angel some today and yesterday but not for too long. Only a month and some amount of days!
I’ve still not received the card and pictures he sent for my birthday, they were sent a week or two ago but I haven’t seen them here nor have they been returned to him, so I’m not sure where they are.

I’ll be adding more pictures to my gallery soon, just gotta get them off the camera and computer and upload them.

I’ve noticed since I started taking the Ultram ER that I’m having more muscle spasms than I was. I’m not sure that it’s one of the known side effects of the drug but I’m going to have to bring this up to my doctor soon, it’s not really helped with the pain, my stomach feels like its being set on fire more than it was so hopefully he’ll find something that works and won’t cause the spasms and stomach problems.
I attempted to get an earlier appointment with my neurologist but since I haven’t seen the doctor in so many years and such, I can’t get in until July. They said I could call back every day and check but at this time his schedule is full. I am on the cancellation list there so if someone cancels I might be able to get in earlier. I really hope I’m able to as these migraines are getting to be a bit too much.

Well yesterday sucked.. but before that we’ll talk about Wednesday.
I awoke around 07:00 plenty of time to go to the doctor which I did. He was actually there this time too rather than another canceled appointment. He checked out my back, listened to my problems etc. I’m going to be seeing a neurologist ASAP due to the frequency of my migraines again lately and the pain they bring. He prescribed Ultram ER (which is extended release Tramadol which IMHO is a crappy opioid for about most everyone though some say it works great for them.), it has made me pretty tired after taking them throughout the day (I take once daily) the pain has went away a very tiny bit. I guess you can say it took a bit of the edge off. He also put me on Flovent to manage my asthma and to keep me from having to use my albuterol so often since it’s indicated as a rescue med for attacks and such.

Today went with mother and them to walmart and came home after that. Colon has been all screwy which is off for my usually non functioning one.
Talked to Angel for a few minutes (hardly get to talk anymore) and frustration brings anger and such which I wish could’ve been avoided for out little talk but oh well.

Stomach has been calm for most of the evening while I sat here staring at the walls, it started up again around 11 but has calmed down finally.

Guess it’s time to go to sleep, just want this bad day to be over.
