This is my 898th post on my blog! Hooray!
I went into work today to pick up my paycheck for orientation and some classes I had to take but alas my check was not available. It seems my time sheet I turned in (we use our badges to clock in/out but we didn’t have ours at class yet) went missing and I didn’t get credited for any of those hours. I ended up going to my department hunting down my boss but he was busy actually working like the rest of us (how many bosses actually get dirty and work with their employees?!). He never got my time sheet though it was stuffed in his door, but I filled out a new one and will hopefully get my check soon.
I haven’t even mentioned the job yet in my posts, I work as a transporter in one of the hospitals in my town. I got the job a month or so ago but it takes a long time to actually start working at a hospital it seems. What with all the classes, background checks, drug tests, etc. I won’t be working a lot right now as I’m a registry employee, I only work Sat/Sun 7am-7pm. Some during the week if I want.
Now I had applied for tons of PCT jobs there also but having been turned down for them I ended up applying for Transport, I had my interview and accepted the job. The next day right before HR called me to offer my pay and junk the ED called to offer me an interview for PCT.
Figures.
Other than that I’ve just been hanging out with Cory.
Been playing FFXI some.
I suppose that’s all. Serenade a Thief has a show tomorrow that anyone around there should go and see!

Well recently my Corolla’s brakes have went bye bye. Some Grinding at first, then to the point when pressing the brake pedal did nothing until it did. What it did was pretty scary, loud loud grinding, sounded like something snapped, etc. I was able to thankfully to make it home but along the way slowing down and trying to stop makes the car slam you forward a few times until it does stop. It appears it may just be the pads and rotors so hopefully Midas can help with that.
I’ve been applying for many many jobs at one of the hospitals here, mainly for Patient Care Tech, I was turned down for most of them, I was called about an interview for an IS Tech job with them but missed the call. After having lost hope I decided to apply for a few more PCT and 2 Transporter jobs. Last week I was called in for an interview for Transporter. To which I am now employed with said hospital. Unfortunately on the day the call came from Human Resources I was called by the hiring personal in the ED for the PCT job, to see if I wanted to come in and interview for it on Monday. Unfortunately I had already accepted the other job and didn’t want to risk turning down the one I took only to be turned down for the one in the ED.
Monday I go in and finish some paperwork, get some tests done and pick up my employee id. (and security card for my car if I want it). So now I’m an official employee of Wellmont Health System. Hopefully I’ll make some good friends there and enjoy the work. Possibly able to advance to different jobs later on.
For the time being, I work Weekends Sat/Sun 7am-7pm, I can pick up additional shifts during the week if I wish also. Pay seem good, if I decide to recertify in CPR I can add an extra dollar an hour, seems good to me.
Feels good to experience happiness again.. plus I get the awesome title of Transporter!
That is all.

Well not much has really been going on.
I’ve put in 11-12 applications at a certain hospital for PCT (Patient Care Technician), unfortunately I’ve been turned down for 4 or 5. One in the OR I was really hoping for but it was one of the ones I was turned down for. I’ve got a few thats not been updated in awhile other than I’m being considered. So I’m hoping the fact that its not changed to a “Sorry” message and seems to be taking a bit that I might actually get one of those jobs.
I was finally able to make my $50 payment to my PCP’s office, if I didn’t make that payment I would lose my doctor and I can’t have that happen. Got a nice treat baggy of proventil and nasacort AQ today, so hopefully my sinuses will be happy along with my lungs.
My stomach has been hurting pretty bad lately. Sometimes better after eating. The rest of the symptoms go along with an ulcer. My dysphagia is a bit worse than it was last time I mentioned it making it harder to get food down. The Odynophagia is just unpleasant. So I hope I can get back in for an endoscopy soon.
I am still waiting to hear back from AccessTN, I am really needing the insurance and its nice low premium. I wish they’d just send me some info in the mail or something and let me know whats going on.
Played some DDR Universe on my 360 some today, along with Mega Man X Collection (X4 specifically). Need to get past this one boss on Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door so I can play more of that sometime.
I guess that’s all, Lunesta is doing it’s thing and I need to use my steroid spray and go to sleep.

First off, saw this tidbit in on our newspaper’s website Johnson City man accused of impersonating FBI agent to look at girl’s medical chart in Kingsport
I had a good laugh from it considering my mood lately.
Also I’ll post a youtube video at the end of this post that you may want to check out. It’s Star Trek related and pretty funny.
I’ve got 6 open applications for PCT at one of the hospitals here. That means I’m being considered along with other applicants and will hopefully be contacted soon about an interview. I really hope I get one of them. My first application I did awhile back got turned down but I think I left a few parts out as to why I want to work for Wellmont Heath Systems, I had meant to go back and fill that in but forgot.
I eventually plan to reach the rank of Endo Tech. Contemplating becoming an LPN after that stuff settles down.
Adam’s sick with Otitis media, vomited in the car on the way home from the doctor I was told.
I myself need to be stretched again, so going to have to try to get ahold of my GI doc and get an endoscopy scheduled. I also have to have a colonoscopy this year as well, that’ll have to wait until I get this insurance stuff sent in and all.
I found a prep that might help me clean out better than the others I’ve tried. Moviprep 2L bottle so less to drink (which was a problem with the 4L ones) plus some absorbic acid (which it has, the others don’t) may help with other problems you get with these preps. So going to request that prep this time and see how it works.
I guess that’s all, not talked to anyone lately.
