Xbox 360 For Dummies (For Dummies (Computer/Tech))

Well it arrived today, was a pretty heavy box at that too. Here is a picture:


I went out this morning to Best Buy over in Johnson City. Was looking for a hard drive for it but they were sold out (alot of places are for some reason) and didn’t want to spend the money on the component cables for it so picked up a memory card so that I can visit the kiosks to get new features and stuff on it. Went by Toys-R-Us but they had no kiosk, they did though have 2 hard drives on sale but couldn’t get as it was $100. Then to Barnes and Noble and got some tea and looked around. Finally got back to Kingsport and stopped by Gamestop and got some downloads from theirs. Picked up that blue faceplate also that you see in the picture.

Came home and setup system and playing FFXI.

Well it had to happen eventually. I have one of these on order.

Not sure what all games I’ll like, no good RPGs out on xbox/360 right yet that I’ve liked at least. FFXI360 beta has started and just gotta get it installed so I can play on that and PC.

I’ve seen a few faceplates I like, one is the E3 one and the Zero Hour one. Unfortunately those are going for quite a bit more on ebay so it’s to me not worth it for a chunk of plastic. Also the team who worked on the 360’s got their own faceplate which I like a great deal too.

My health is still crap too, my stomach likes to reject most what i put into it. Even when I don’t eat or such I’ll get sick so beats me.
I’ve been very anemic lately. Been having to get iron shots every week and take iron pills every day. Got to head to doctor tomorrow to get iron shot and get rx for these B12 injections I have to start giving myself. FUN…

I’ve updated my blog to WP 2 RC 1.3.2.1.5.6.77, that was a few weeks ago and got a new design for it. Still got alot of work to do but I’ll get it done eventually. Also started using the link management built into WP, I like it pretty well and helps me keep organized somewhat but I dread having to add my old blogroll back into here and getting them all sorted into different categories.
